Cookie butter.
What the heck is that and if you eat it will you die? Maybe. Die and go to heaven. I don't know that I would have been brave enough to buy this stuff on my own...but a coworker recommended it to me--a coworker with exquisite taste. It's just crushed up cookies and butter, I guess. Not really sure because all I had to see was "crushed up cookies and coconut oil" listed in the ingredients and I was game. What do you eat it with? We are still trying to figure that out. But so far, nothing has tasted bad with it!
Eric and I had a pretend argument in Trader Joe's so that neither of us would feel guilty for consenting to buy what sounds like something that could potentially be fatal. It went something like this: "Do you want to buy it?" "No, no...but you really want to try it, so you should get it." "Yeah, but we probably shouldn't. It could be too good, and we might get addicted or something. I'll put it back." "Okay, yeah. Put it back." "Okay, I'm going to put it back now." "Okay. Good idea." "I can't do it!!!!!!" So we accidentally bought it.
My Christmas wish is that everyone who has a desire to taste cookie butter, gets to. If you have a hankering, and don't live near a Trader Joe's, maybe we can work something out.
And now, in the spirit of Coconut love, Christmas, and one of the best Christmas movies of all time:
"You don't like coconuts!!?? Say there brainless, don't you know where coconuts come from?!"
Um ... THIS IS AMAZING. I must buy this and fatten myself up without caring about the consequences.

ReplyDeleteand this post made me laugh out loud. but i don't think anything from TJ's could kill you...right?
I've see that in the new stuff section of my TJ's! I stopped, looked at it, thought about it and couldn't decide what I'd eat with it... I assume I'd just consume the entire jar with a spoon. So, there's my confession for the day. Haha!
