"Blessed is the man, who having nothing to say, abstains from giving wordy evidence of the fact."
- George Eliot
Amen, George. Thank you, George. (Or, Mary Anne, rather)
Is it just me, or are Mondays really not that bad? Yeah, they have a terrible reputation for ruining weekends, but I have never understood the Monday blues that people speak of.
Tuesdays, however, are a different story. UGH. Tuesdays are my Mondays. They drag on. They creep by. They never end. They remind you that you are not as productive as Monday would have you to believe.
Monday is the day to feel inspired about all that you can accomplish during the week. It is a fresh start. As my favorite heroine from my favorite book says, "Tomorrow is always fresh with no mistakes in it." That is how I feel on Mondays about the entire week.
Tuesday ruins that, yes.
But Wednesdays are somewhat redeeming.
Thursday, it's practically the weekend.
And this is starting to sound like a Rebecca Black song. That probably means it is a good place to stop, and leave you with a final photo to inspire on this Monday morning. We are going on a picnic by the Eiffel Tower and we just picked these things up at a little market. We don't have to work today or anything. We just get to relax and think about how awesome life is. Maybe a thought-provoking book is lying next to us. We have all day. Isn't that great?

from here
Embrace Monday.

this made me laugh out loud (the rebecca black reference). did it make me laugh as hard as sally dancing? no. sorry. (but i'm sure you understand.)
